WASHINGTON, D.C. - Speaker Mike Johnson recently completed his August campaign swing, campaigning for 31 battleground candidates across 18 states, 52 Districts and cities, and more than 75 events. In total, Speaker Johnson joined 71 Members and candidates on the road during the month, while the Speaker’s August fundraising events raised over $4 million in Districts that will decide the majority.

"From meeting with workers at a concrete company in Maine, to faith leaders at a church in Alaska, to auditoriums full of enthusiastic supporters in Arizona and scores of cities in between, I saw firsthand in August the energy on the ground for Republicans across the battleground districts as we remain on offense to win the midterms," said Speaker Johnson. "With less than 65 days left until Election Day, we will continue our momentum as we meet with voters and highlight the contrast for America on full display between Republicans’ common sense and Democrats’ crazy agenda. We are absolutely on track to defy history and grow our majority."

During the the August campaign swing, Speaker Johnson unveiled ContrastForAmerica.com, a site highlighting the contrast between common sense and crazy and the rise of socialism and communism within the Democrat Party. The Speaker highlighted this contrast and website throughout the August swing, which included stops in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
