Speaker Johnson Makes Largest Quarterly Transfer Ever with $17.5 Million to House Republicans
June 26, 2025
WASHINGTON, D.C. - As he leads the fight to defend and grow the House majority, Speaker Mike Johnson announced he is transferring $17.5 million to House Republicans in the second quarter. This is the Speaker's largest quarterly transfer ever.
As part of the transfer, on Wednesday Speaker Johnson hosted House Republicans in Washington, DC to distribute $6.5 million to incumbents included in the Speaker's Grow the Majority Joint Fundraising Committee. At the event, Members received checks averaging $213,000. Speaker Johnson has now raised and sent more than $10.5 million to incumbents through Grow the Majority this cycle, the most ever by a Republican Speaker through two quarters.
The Speaker's quarterly transfer also includes $3 million to state parties and other committees and $8 million for the NRCC. Speaker Johnson has now distributed more than $14 million to the NRCC so far this cycle.
"House Republicans are on offense to deliver our agenda and to grow our majority," said Speaker Johnson. "Democrats, who have learned nothing from their historic 2024 loss, continue to promote even more radical policies and candidates. Instead, House Republicans are working to secure the border, cut taxes, make government work better, and promote peace through strength. With another record-setting quarter, we are continuing our work to put House Republicans in strong position to win in 2026."
The Speaker's second-quarter transfer builds on an earlier transfer in the first quarter to kick off the 2026 cycle.
